The Story So Far

Noah the Boa was written in the late 1970s.

It was hand drawn and painted and the text was hand written.  At that time, home computers with graphics software did not exist.  I wrote it for our children Sam and Zoe but made no attempt to have it published.  They did enjoy it.

This is it – complete with Letraset title! —>
Fast forward to 2006 when our first grandson was born.

I decided to redraw it all using Corel Draw so that I could print copies and perhaps tempt a publisher. I produced the new version and printed several copies. I also sent it to a few publishers and collected a few rejection letters. Very nice ones, but rejections nevertheless. However our two new grandchildren loved the new version.

Fast forward again to 2021.

We have a new grandson called James!

Bailey, our first grandson and an avid technophile by now, introduced me to Unity and C# so I set out to produce an animated version for tablets.

This is now ready for the world and is available for iPad via the Apple App Store as a FREE download (search for Noah the Boa)

It is also via Google Play as a FREE download for Android tables and phones. Again, just search for Noah the Boa of follow this link Noah the Boa – Apps on Google Play.

I’ve tested it on our new grandson – now 4 and he really loves it. So that’s a good, balanced, unbiassed endorsement! His brother is only eleven months old and does not have a tablet yet 🙂
